“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take. -Wayne Gretzky” -Michael Scott”

I am currently a second-year Communications student at Wilfrid Laurier University. I am also a varsity athlete and I compete in Cross Country and Track. I have taken the introductory course, DH100, last semester and I am currently taking DH200 as well as DH300. My picture that I selected is a photo that I took in Miami Beach, Florida while I was on vacation over reading week.

My role as a digital editor is to…

My role as a digital editor is to bring text and historical documents into a digital format that is more accessible and understandable for students and scholars to view and use for studies. My role is to simply translate specific pieces of academic work or work done by academics in order for it to be digitalized thus being more available to individuals. I think that digital editors are important as we live in a time where information is in high demand so having groups of people translate and transform the information given into a format that is digitally accessible is key.
