“If I had to name my greatest strength, I guess it would be my humility. Greatest weakness, it’s possible that I’m a little too awesome.” — Barack Obama

My name is Robayat Yar, I am a third year student enrolled in Honours Biology at Wilfrid Laurier University. My hobbies include being a (big) Bernie Sanders advocate, binge watching TV shows on Netflix and eating anything chocolate related. I come from a family of four and I am the oldest of the two children. I have a decent sense of humour and I will laugh at almost anything. Through these transcriptions and WordPress I hope that I’ll be able to educate my fellow peers about C.H. Little’s lifestyle and get acquainted with other individuals as well.

My role as a digital editor is to ensure that the editions are made easily accessible to the Laurier student body and my fellow peers. The each individual was assigned a letter; in which C.H. Little writes to his mother about the small day to day matters concerning his family and  involvement in the early days of the Lutheran Seminary. The letter I am transcribing is dated February 10th, 1934, his letters encompass his daily life during the middle years of The Great Depression. Digitally publishing works allows people from all walks of life and different places in the world to access this information. In the future hand held devices, like cellphones and tablets, will become more and more readily available in comparison to textual prints. Through digitally blogging and publishing I can contribute to the growing digital community via transcribing these hand-written letters.
